Listen mama, if you can't appreciate the incredible amount of work you're doing and how far you've come then you need to actually stand still for a minute and think this through. You are doing it, day in, day out, 24/7, 365/6 days a year!!!
You love so deeply and care so much. Don't let the mom guilt drag you down and make sure you kick your feet up now that the kids are back at school. Be kind to yourself, because you're doing an awful lot. Don't forget your dreams, don't forget to ask for help when you need it and make sure you have some friends who love you well and don't drain the life out of you. Your kids can be a nightmare sometimes but Lord are they a blessing. Well done. You're amazing. Buy yourself a Mama Award.
*The mama award is something I made up because it made me laugh that the peace sign is also how midwives check how dilated your cervix is during labor so l bought it to remember how weird and wonderful life is.
